M1A1 / M1A2 SEP Abrams TUSK

TUSK means Tank Urban Survivability Kit. The TUSK program was initiated in 2004 by the U.S. Army and is carried out in 2008/2009 in Iraq. Aim of the TUSK program is to improve the survivability, lethality and situational awareness of the main battle tanks and their crews when operating in urban areas. This publication provides a detailed and exclusive look into the TUSK technology and its U.S. Army service.
